What Can Drones Do For You?

On March 3rd, 2020, representatives from the San Diego Industrial Drone Consortium (SDIDC) gave an exciting presentation about the drone industry at the South County Economic Development Council Board Members Meeting.

Segmented for 3 presenters, Darryl Anunciado from Action Drone opened with the benefits of integrating drone training for public and private industries. These integrations also included mapping & surveillance for first responder & natural disaster assessments, city planning, and conducting partnerships with university school research and developments.

Dave Twinning from Planck Aero spoke on the innovation advancements of drone software, automation, and swarm systems that enable military and research capabilities to capture data effectively from moving platforms.

In closing, David Tinder from Birds Eye Aerial Drones discussed about infrastructure and utility inspection for wind turbine farms, electric poles and grids, solar panels, and bridges. Inevitably, marketing imagery is always beneficial in company promotions, investor and city-wide stakeholder reviews, as well as fund-raising benefits for non-profit organizations.

The SDIDC is facilitated by the South County Economic Development Council (SCEDC). For more information, please contact us.
